Through the classic tale of the Four Great Beauties—Xi Shi and Fan Li, we will guide you through Cantonese opera's artistry: makeup, costumes, singing, acting, recitation, and its inherent theatricality.

The ending of Xi Shi's story remains shrouded in mystery. We present two distinct Cantonese opera excerpts with differing conclusions, inviting audiences to explore the enigmas of traditional Chinese narratives and Hong Kong's local culture.

In Sai Kung, we imagine West Lake; waves merge with gongs and drums. Would you like to join us and share your insights?

粵之聲戲劇曲藝樂院（香港）非牟利團體簡介
粵---廣東的簡稱，粵劇是代表廣東文化藝術之一，因而取其名為粵之聲戲劇曲藝樂院（香港）。本院為非牟利註冊團體，成立於1996年，元老創辦人為莫醒麟先生，宗旨為推廣此傳統國粹、發揚此優秀的戲劇曲藝，探集眾家之長，不斷實踐，通過學習ヽ研究ヽ排練ヽ演出及交流，發展出粵藝新天地。

粵之聲致力將這傳統藝術帶入學校及社群以至世界各地，曾經到台灣、新加坡、馬來西亞、加拿大等各地交流及推廣。新任主席為粵劇新秀，立志推廣粵劇傳統藝術文化，在前輩們以舊帶新的傳承帶領下，以年青新血的形象，透過中小大學入校推廣、社區演出，培養粵劇未來年輕觀眾群，讓更多人仕認識到此藝術的高深廣博，繼而薪火相傳，保育本土文化。

Yuet Chi Sing Cantonese Opera (H.K.)
Yuè --- the abbreviation for Guangdong, Cantonese Opera is one of the representative cultural arts of Guangdong and Hong Kong. Hence, it is named the Yuet Chi Sing Cantonese Opera (H.K.) which means Voice of Yuè. Yuet Chi Sing Cantonese Opera (H.K.) is a NGO, established in 1996, with Mr. Mok Sing-Lun as the founder. Its mission is to promote this traditional art, through learning, research, rehearsal, performance, and exchange, develop a new realm of Cantonese Opera.

利文喆, 粵劇新秀演員
自5歲開始於聲輝粵劇推廣協會學藝至今，2025 加入 粵劇新秀演出系列。
師承楊劍華師公，芳雪瑩，鍾焯華，曾健文，楊麗紅。
近年亦跟隨何志成前輩學習南派功架，更幸獲莫醒麟，蔡婉玲等戲行前輩指點教導。曾到澳門，中山，北京，美加，星馬等地交流演出。
近年致力參與及策劃推廣工作，如入校粵劇演出及導賞，與網台合作拍攝，參與藝術節等等。


Li Man Chit, Young Cantonese Opera artist, participating in the Sing Fai Cantonese Opera Troupe and the Cantonese Opera Young Talent Showcase held by The Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong (CAAHK).
He has been learning Cantonese Opera since 5, under the guidance of Fong Suet Ying, Yeung Kim Wah and Ho Chi Sing.
Li used to perform in Macau, Zhongshan, Beijing, U.S.A. , Canada, Singapore and Malaysia.
In recent years, Li has been dedicated to the promotion of Cantonese Opera, including organizing workshops and performances.

蔡婉玲, 資深粵劇演員, 粵劇發展諮詢委員會委員。
自小並未有接觸粵劇，家中全是聽交嚮及古典樂，但無意看到粵劇曲詞時，經深入了解，發現粵曲的高深廣博，繼而產生濃厚興趣，自始她投身粵劇界作為她的終身志願。後得丑生王梁醒波先生、陳好逑小姐及譚珊珊師傅保薦入八和會館，武生王靚次伯先生及白楊小姐指導唱腔。
師承鳳凰女小姐，祁玉昆老師、許君漢老師，任大勳老師。
於1987年與阮兆輝先生於馬來亞夥拍擔綱正印演出長達七個月，期間得到輝哥的悉心教導，獲益良多。
近年致力參與及策劃推廣工作，如入校粵劇演出及導賞，與網台合作拍攝，參與藝術節等等。

Choi Yuen Ling, senior Cantonese Opera artist, Member of the Cantonese Opera Advisory Committee.
Choi has been coached by Miss Fung Wong Nui, a famous Cantonese Opera artist. Since childhood, Choi had no exposure to Cantonese opera; her family only listened to classical music. However, when she unintentionally came across Cantonese opera lyrics, she delved deeper and discovered the profound and extensive nature of Cantonese opera. This sparked a strong interest in her, and from then on, she devoted herself to the Cantonese opera world as her lifelong aspiration.
Choi has been coached by Miss Fung Wong Nui, Mr Lan Chi Pat. In 1987, Choi collaborated with Mr. Yuen Siu Fai in Malaysia for seven months. During this period, I received careful guidance fromYuen and benefited greatly.
In recent years, Choi has been dedicated to the education and promotion of Cantonese Opera, including organizing workshops and performances.
